About the Role
As a People Team Co-ordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring seamless HR administration across the employee lifecycle. Reporting to the People and OD Partner, you will lead a dedicated HR administration team, oversee recruitment processes, maintain compliance, and drive HR operational excellence across the Trust.
This is a new role for our team and an exciting opportunity to shape and enhance HR processes, ensuring a positive experience for employees while supporting the wider strategic goals of the organisation.
What You’ll Be Doing
Leading and developing the HR administration team, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability and good customer service.
Managing recruitment processes, ensuring a smooth on-boarding process for new hires.
Overseeing all employee lifecycle processes, including payroll support, compliance, and data management.
Supporting HR systems development and ensuring the effective use of technology to streamline processes.
Ensuring policies and procedures align with statutory guidelines and best practices.
Providing data insights and audit-ready reports to support decision-making.
Championing BTC Trust as an employer of choice through recruitment marketing and employer branding initiatives.
What We’re Looking For
HR Expertise: Experience working in HR operations with a strong understanding of employment law and best practices.
Leadership Skills: Previous experience in a supervisory or team leadership role.
Attention to Detail: A proven track record of delivering high-quality HR administration with accuracy.
Tech-Savvy: Confident in using HR Information Systems, social media and Microsoft Office.
Communication & Collaboration: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across the organisation.
Problem Solver: Ability to think critically and improve existing processes.
Education & Qualifications: Minimum of 5 GCSEs (Grade C/4 or above, including English and Maths). A Level 3 HR qualification (or willingness to undertake) is desirable.
